OVERVIEW
The IPATH Board of Directors had originally decided to forego the 2023 Annual Meeting in an effort to focus on restructuring the organization, which includes the creation of IPATH-North America. However, while discussing the alternative, a webinar series, the Board unanimously decided to host THREE (3), VIRTUAL one day conferences scheduled in June, September and December. This will ensure that IPATH members and guests have the continued opportunity to submit their work for peer-review, presentation, abstract(s) publication and have their work considered for publication as a full manuscript in a scientific journal. Below is a brief description of this innovative program concept:
  • One topic area per day with the topic area to be determined based on abstract submission.​
    • Each event will have a separate 'Call for Abstracts.'
    • Authors are invited to submit an abstract at any time. If you have an abstract on road safety, it can still be submitted during the initial call. 
  • Each 1-Day conference will be comprised of three to four 90-minute sessions and one keynote.
  • Similar to ICTH, abstract authors will be organized in session teams but a member of the IPATH Board of Directors will serve as moderator of all presentations. This is necessary to field an active Q/A following each conference session.
  • All virtual sessions will be recorded.
  • Start time will be 9:00 AM EDT USA to account for other US time zones, but an earlier or later time may be scheduled for international session authors.
  • Registration fee is set at $50/day or $100 USD for all three (3) days for guests (nonmembers). IPATH member registration is FREE. Registrants are encouraged to join IPATH in exchange for a FREE IPATH Annual Meeting registration.
